This April, our Sac Civic Ballet and Apprentice Co. dancers are headed to San Diego for our annual 3 day long festival filled with master classes, seminars, networking, recruitment, and performances in front of industry professionals.
Leading up to the festival, our dancers, directors, and student choreographers have been hard at work preparing and rehearsing choreography and solos to present at RDA Adjudication. The adjudicator will come to the studio to observe a full company class and evaluate all the choreographed pieces presented for constructive feedback. They will also be selecting which pieces will be presented at the Regional Festival in San Diego. |

Members of the Sac Civic Ballet and Crockett-Deane Ballet Apprentice Company attended the Regional Dance America National Festival in Daytona Beach Florida where our founder, Barbara Crockett, was honored as the founder of Regional Dance America - Pacific Region.
Our dancers had an amazing experience between attending master classes taught by renowned faculty from all over the country, meeting other dancers from the different regions, watching nightly performances featuring soloists and 65 pre-professional dance companies, as well performing a piece on stage themselves titled "A Walk Among the Flowers" choreographed by Linda Yun. Congratulations to Jaynica Dacuycuy for being selected as an Outstanding Soloist and to Jordin Schultz for being selected as a Full Scholarship Recipient to the National Choreography Intensive. We also want to congratulate our company members for dancing beautifully as well as representing Barbara Crockett's legacy at the RDA National Festival.
